Okay, ihave a few but i am just gonna post 2 of them here:
1) future transfer fees relate to profit irl, not just the fee overall for example if you buy a player for £5,000,000 with a 50% sell on fee that 50% refers to any profit so in order to pay the sell on fee his next trnasfer would have to be over £5,000,000
2) when i go on holiday as an unemployed top manager I want to be able to select clubs who I would want to manage, so i can then go on holiday and wait for a decent job to come up. at for example i might choose madrid, milan, liverpool and then chuck in preston as my hometown club

Not always. But it should be possible to specify.

Doesn't really seem worth the coding effort to me.
My opinion.

If you can shortlist a player for an indefinite amount of time, why can't you also shortlist a staff member?
Why not just go on holiday for a week, come back and check the job listings? I agree with Dave C - not worth the coding. There are, in my, many more pressing issues to be addressed to improve FM.

on point two: i am currently on holiday in 2020, i have a world class rep - i tick apply for higher rep jobs and return when job is offered.
go away for a few mins come back and hannover have offered me a job, its just daft, its like fulham approaching mourinho
If mourinho applied for the job like you did then they would offer him the job.
