No, that wasn't the point he was making.
If you don't want to believe me then feel free to experiment - go into preferences and set match processing on fastest (or any setting other than slowest) and then do what gurk did.
Then repeat with match processing on slowest - and the distinction will become apparent.
There was an experiment a while back when someone changed Andorras players to 170CA, they still lost 7-0 11-0 etc because the team rep stayed the same.
The difference between leagues you are running and leagues you aren't is that the matches ARE NOT EVEN SIMMED in leagues that you aren't running (or not to the point where they can be viewed etc) the engine just produces season stats for the players in keeping with their ability. </BLOCKQUOTE>
You're both correct.
Any league you are managing in IS run in full detail, but the op wasn't managing in ANY league never mind about the Premiership.
I think what Ched was thinking about was that if the op had taken over Chelsea and then gone on holiday, he would have needed to change the detail level as being on holiday is not classed as managing the club.
I think that's correct and makes sense.
Anyway, basically, to save provcessing time, "inactive" leagues/competitions are calculated based largely on reputation. Aleague/competition becomes "inactive" when there is not a human manager managing a team in it.
