Thanks for trying to help Shifan but can u just answer this question how long did u wait on the first time u used FM 2.0 beta when u pressed load

With 2 gig of RAM and a decent CPU setup, the wait shouldn't be that long. A few minutes at most.

Unfortunately, I can't run FMM on my machine as I have the 6.0.2 beta build (changing the reg key has no effect).

In tests on MCFM, the game loads in a few seconds on this medium-spec laptop.

How long are you leaving it until you press CTRL+ALT+DEL?

If you find it is locking up when you hit load try turning Zone Alarm off.

Anytime I hit load vsmon.exe takes up 98% of my cpu.
