Hi i was just wondering if somebody could shed some light on this for me , I recently decided to do some scouting of good players using the included editor but was horrifyed to find that a couple of my young signings for Man Utd , james morrison mainly, only had -3 for his potential ability, now after finding this i spoke to my bro, and he told me that those figures are kind of a code for the game to tell it how much to make the players in questyion improve over time could somebody in the know please clarify this for me????? Thanks very Much

The negative values equate with the following ranges of potential ability. Sadly -3 is not good enough for a club like Man U.

-10 = 170-200
-9 = 150-180
-8 = 130-160
-7 = 110-140
-6 = 90-120
-5 = 70-100
-4 = 50-80
-3 = 30-60
-2 = 10-40
-1 = 0-20
