this is not only FMM problem..

I used the official editor and I changed the stats of my staff...

then in the new game everyone was good(coach,physio,scout) except assistant manager!

You may also need to change the Current Ability and Potential Ability. If you did that, then I dont know what the problem could be.

If you edit any player or staff attribute, you need also to increase the CA as well, otherwise the game will recalculate the attributes to match the CA- make sure that the CA is not edited above the PA.

off course we increase CA!

I told you that there is no problem with other stuff(coaches,physio...)

If I didn't change the CA,then I had the same problem for all stuff...

sorry if this is irrevelant to the topic. lets say steven gerrard has a CA of 180 and a PA of 190. will his performances differ from if his PA were to be increased to 195 instead of 190? in short, does the gap between CA and PA makes a difference? I played my game trying. Initially Gerrard has a CA of 180, after 2 seasons, his CA is still 180 and PA remains.

PA means 'potential ability'. CA means 'current' ability. If you change the CA then nothing will happen to their attributes because it is only a potential they can reach. You need to change their CA to improve stats. CA should be always capable of changing, while PA will never change after a game has begun. Does that answer your question ?

I don't think you have answered his question...

what he realy want to know if the gap between CA and PA plays some part in attributes

A player with 170 CA and 175 PA have the same stats(at all) with a player with 170 CA and 185 PA?

If two players have identical abilities and the exact same CA, I don't think it makes a difference to the actual gameplay what their PA is. The CA is the important thing.

Obviously if you have a great set of staff and have your training sorted, then it might be better to have a higher PA player in the long run.

In answer to the thread starter, I don't think any particular editor has been able to edit staff stats particularly well. They're not amazingly vital to the game though, if you can edit your players, why do you need to worry about your staff? The staff features on the game are pretty poor anyway - coaches can't train properly, scouts can't scout properly and assistant managers don't actually assist. I wouldn't worry too much about your staff as long as you ensure the training gives you five stars in each attribute.

Aside: There was a brief period at one of my old Chelsea games where I was paying more money to staff than players, to ensure my youngsters met their potential. Well, I thought it was mildly interesting. You didn't? Well, get lost then. You made me cry now, look. I hope you're pleased with what you've done.
