Anyone know of any mod/update for the game which sets the start date a while back and includes real players from a young age with realisic stats?

Not sure how likely the existence of such a mod is, but think it would be interesting to try should it exist - nice to snap up the Rooneys and Ronaldihos early to establish a kind of dream team.

Any information would be graciously received, and thanks in advance to those who provide it!

That's what I thought, but no harm in asking. Too big a job for most people to undertake, would be a massive project to complete to a worthwhile standard.

....or you could use any of the editors and change the age of the players

Haha I did that once in one of the old CM games... put together the Rangers team of the mid 90's. Was a good laugh :p

Wouldn't it be good if each version of FM was backwards compatible (with the databases) so you could just load the file from say five years ago into 06, and theres your solution...

I doubt it would be really possible though, don't ask me how it works. Maybe something for future versions.

I did offer to make a Dream team update and asked for people to list there dreamsquad for there prem club. I think I got replies for Derby, Spurs and had my own West Ham squad.

So to be fair there wasnt enough interest to make it worth doing.
