So you too changed the defense of the home tactic. Well that is about right I think. The biggest problem with the home-tactic is the defense. (See also posts by melench and oescus in this topic.) But I am glad to hear that you do so very well in your matches. (I can only dream of statistics like 15-3-1, like you have.) I had something similar in my first season with Ajax. But after that no more. (Only Australia, but they are much better than most of the Asian opposition.)

What about my midfield? Does it serve you as well as it did for melench? Do the triangles work well on the midfield and do they work well together? I hope so.

I hope you can tell me more about your findings.

hi again... now i only have played 5 more games and only lose 1 to real madrid 2-1 in semi finals of chl.... i can tell you that i play michael carrick in the rmc as playmaker.. absolut brilliant...wesley sneijder in the rmc and macherano in the dm right behind them... those 3 are dominated the midfield totally... the only thing i cant find out is if i should plar rooney in the right am ore as the striker... he is scoring many goals both places .... by the way kicked real madrid out of the competition 4-3 won my homegame 3-1... one question.... You have 2 tactics more than the home and away ...one you can use when you are in front.. but when do you switch to that tactic.... when you lead by 1 2 or 3 goals.. and also the other onewhen do you switch i have not tried it yet...

Hi nummer7.

I go to consolidate tactic when I am ahead by one goal, when I am playing a very big match. (hard opponent champions leauge, or rival team in the league).

I swith to the consolidate tactic when I am ahead by 2 or 3 goals in matches that are not really imported, but who are against hard-midtable teams.

Both only in cases where I think it is hard to keep the lead, or when I think that my players should do it a bit more easy and spare their strengths.

I use the AON (All or nothing) tactic against very small opponents when I want to score a lot and don't have to mind about the defense.

I also use that tactic to get even when I am behind and I am in very great need for a goal. (2 leg matches in Europeon competitions for instance).


Again, I am very happy that it works so well for you!. I think the home and away tactics are the best 2 out of those 4 tactics. I think that the Consolidate and AON tactic need a lot more tweaking.

Hi jorgen this is my fixtures in my new season...i startet in the game against fc københav (2-0) so as you can see i only lose against west ham because i was resten half my team to the local derby againt city... not so clever but then again now i learned twice not to rest to many players in the samr game...

That looks very impressive nummer7. I see a fair lot of draws, only one you lost and a lot of wins. Next week I am going to play my game further and try to find what still needs to be changed.
