Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default getting the best out of a pacey forward in the lower leagues

I have a forward with some amazing pace acceleration and agility, they are all around 18 each, and he has 18 dribbling as well. Is there a way I can position him to take advantage of his pace and dribbling skills in the lower leagues? im in the 2nd division of scotland atm I was thinking of maybe using a back arrow on him so he could receive the ball at midfield and just run by people but I am not sure if thats what will happen.

Thanks

Set him as a target man, check the 'Use Target man' option, and select 'Run onto ball' for 'Target Man Supply'. It helps if your other players are remotely capable in passing, but in general it's agood way to unsettle the opposition. Just have your TM on often forward runs so that he can take advantage of the long through ball.
