Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Successful Tactics w/o OI

Anybody at all managed to create tactics that have high success rates without use of OI in matches?

I never bother with opposing instructions, I just concentrate on my own teams strengths and not the oppositions

But i suppose if you face a obviously superior side in your own in terms of quality, at some point OI has to influence your strategy?

Although my personal preference is not to do OI at all as well ... im wondering how many created tactics out here have succeeded to a large degree without OI use at all.

In short, whether OI influences the tactical game to a large degree.

It's got to be worth a few points per season, otherwise SI would not have bothered developing it.

Having said that, I'm too lazy to use them, and I'm still doing well with my Bognor Regis game, got them up to League 2 from the Conference South so far.

Possibly though it becomes more important to single particular opposition players out when you play at the highest level due to the ability of the likes of Henry/Ronaldo/Gerrard etc to win a game single handedly if allowed to do so.

Down in the Conference, even the best players are rubbish
