im not a big fan of editing tactics and only ever make really minor changes but this is the squad and tactics i used to get these results with sheff utd:
Newcastle 0 - 3 Sheffield United
Liverpool 0 - 1 Sheffield United
Sheffield United 1 - Manchester United
(the liverpool and man u games were played in succession.)
I played a 4-1-2-2-1. and this is my all star squad. (p.s this was my firsr season)
GK - Kenny
LB - Geary
CB - Morgan
CB - Bromby
RB - Kozluk
DM - Jagielka
CM - Tonge
Cm - Steven Quinn
AML - Alan Quinn
AMR - Gillespie (Kazim-richards v liverpool)
ST - Hulse
I had a defensive mentality, low creative freedeom, very deep defending and a counter attacking feature set.
I feel this only works as a small team against giants as i used this against watford and blackburn but drew them both 0 - 0.
Same squad and tactics as before. arsenal were league leaders and the victory propells us up to 9th. other than the games mentioned im not winning many. please tell me if these tactics help or whether im just having a spot of dumb luck!
width - wide
closing down - rarely
time wasting - rarely (often if winning late on)
Tackling - varies on referee
Use target man - rob hulse
Playmaker - micheal tonge -CM
Counter attack on
Man marking feature only used if the oppenents are playing with one attacker.
Hulse - ST - all out attack mentality
Jagielka - DM - slightly defensive mentality
AML and AMR slightly attacking mentality
