When I was at Chelsea in my third season, I tried to improve the team going after players such as Kaka, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo. I was unsuccessful in bids for Ronaldinho and Ronaldo but I was able to get Kaka for £60m. So I'd guess bids of around £60m should do it for big name players. Unfortunately for Kaka, I resigned and Chelsea appointed a new manager who didnt play him

I just bought Aguero in the 4th season for 12 million! WHAT A BARGAIN!

What club are you? Might be that even though your club has money, it doesn't have good enough reputation. Just an idea though.

Got Aguero for £5.5m & 20% sell on as soon as he signed a professional contract iirc.

I got Aguero for 11m (gbp) with west ham 2nd season.. just gotta get lucky sometimes I think

everything is possible start praising

i bought aguero for about 13.5 mil euro

and kaka for 25 mil euro

higuain for 4.5 mil euro

messi for 56 mil euro (that was expensive)

and i was lyon at the time
