going to start as a championship team and i was thinking of a cheeky way to raise some money to spend...

are there any players i can sign at the start of the game for free that i can then put up for transfer and sell for a big profit???

these players need to be signed at the start of the game and sold before august.

No players really want to leave immediately after joining a club. That's a tough one there mate.

You'll probably find it diffcult to sell players anyway. I know I've never had much success in selling players unless of course they've been performing really well, in which case you'd want to keep them!

I think you'll find yourself signing a load of cheap or free, average players & they'll be stuck in your reserves moaning about lack of first team football, costing you a fortune in wages.

Eddie Stanford can be signed on a free at the start. Lots of clubs become interested in him once he signs.

sign cheap talented players from belarus or thereabouts (kislyak, afanasiev, kisliy, pavluchenko, napierala, cieluch, salihi, hleb, then loan out or play, sell for profit) each of them is undervalued so you make money as soon as they move to your club, well unless you have probs with work permit, in which case I can't help you cause I don't need one for my team so i donno how that works, cheers.

also i donno if this will work for people but it has for me for a couple of players, loan out a semi expensive player, then don't play him, put him in your u18 or something his value should drop then transfer him, put him in your main squad and play him. this might be considered cheating by some but hey you asked for advice...

Used to work okay in previous releases, but unless the free player is in great demand it won't work here.

Not a major revelation here, but if you need to raise cash seruptitiously, just sign on as a new user and buy players that are no longer at your club in real life - for realistic fees of course. It doesn't feel like cheating as long as you don't sell donkeys to Chelski for 10M at a time (for me, anyway). But it is against the spirit of the game (I can hear the screams of disapproval from here).

I once started with Leeds and sold my dead weight to Chelsea for their entire transfer budget, just to see what would have happened if Roman was at Elland Road, which was fun until about Xmas - the only challenge was persuading players to join. Then, at the end of the season safely in the premiership, with a whole 20m still in my transfer kitty, Mr Bates gave me a meagre 5m to spend next season due to my "excessive spending last year". Mid-table the following Xmas, I stopped playing. Wasn't much fun, don't recommend it.

If you start your game in July he costs around £200K in comp.

Straight after you've signed him he should be worth around £2M
