For Chelski I sold Essien for £13m to Villareal, Bridge for 3.2 to Man City & Robben to Arsenal for £20m with Walcott in exchange.
I've also brought in Fernando Torres (who scored 4 on his debut), Riquleme (who's 1st goal for the club was a 45 yard volley!), Luis Figo (an experienced & very cheap option at right-midfield), Downing (his fitness is proving a bit of a problem though), Vanden Borre (keeping Ferreria out of the side), Marcelo (keeping Cashley Cole out of the side after Cole made a series of errors) &, perhaps best of all, Micah Richards from Man City. He's an awesome CB on the game & his partnership with Terry has only conceded 2 goals in the opening 7 games. That bloody chairman also bought Malouda against my will but due to Downing losing fight with fitness he's in the first-team & to be fair is doing pretty well.
Special mention must also go to Walcott who has scored 4 goals in 8 so far & is equally lethal on the right-wing as he is up-front & he's currently keeping Figo on the bench.
My strongest starting line-up is:
GK - Cech
RB- Vanden Borre
LB - Marcelo
CB - Richards
CB - Terry
RM - Walcott
LM - Malouda
DM - Ballack
MC - Lampard
AM - Riquelme
ST - Torres
This team managed a 0-2 away win to Arsenal followed by a 1-4 demolishion of Liverpool in the next game.
The only problem I have with managing Chelki though is the fact that the challenge isn't too great. It's fun in terms of building a dream team as such but it's not something I think I'll delve in to when the full game arrives on my doormat
