Skeeter's Steffen Iversen apprecial thread
I'm falling in love. Got him for £1.2m at the start of the season for my Villa team. Five league games later and he's bagged himself 8 goals, 2 assists and 2 MOM's.
I recently decided to pay attention to set pieces, selecting Iversen for the Near Post Flick On for the last game against Bolton. He scored an amazing 5 which took us to a 5-3 win after going into half time 3-0 down. What is more, he got a hat-trick from corners alone (kudos to Nicky Shorey for providing, but that's a whole different thread).
How is this the same player who was so disappointing at Spurs all those years ago? I'm not complaining, but it's bizarre.
Anyone else feel free to share your experiences with FM07's greatest TM (for under £30m)!
