Hi all ive had a quick look around the forum it looks good, some really helpful info on here, anyways...

Im in my 2nd season on FM08 and i was wondering if anybody knew of a good/amazing/wonderkid Defensive Midfielder, i've got hargreaves at man utd but he wont last the pace of a long game, any tips??? thanks!

Denilson or Banega?

Denilson, Sunny, Lucas, Veloso are all brilliant. Banega is great but he's more of a CM than a DM.

cheers for that mate just got banega before the window shut had to pay 21mil though!! i couldnt get a work permit for him though so it suggested loaning him to another club how does this work to get him a permit?

Because Banega isnt from the EU he needs to gain a work permit. If you loan him to a feeder club from Belgium or Spain he will get a EU passport, therefore getting a work permit, within 3 years iirc. Thats an awful long time though, so I suggest just offering him a new contract, with either Key Player or First Team as the status, which should get him a work permit if he has enough reputation (hidden stat) and caps for his country. :thup:
