To be honest I can see what your talking about but as £20 per week is a major investment for an LLM I will not be screaming out to have it changed...

£20.00 per week for the privilege of being allowed to travel around watching football, and being invloved with one of the best teams in the conference, they should be paying me. I pay them what they will accept so long as it is below what I would consider acceptable.

Lots of people become scouts for only a per diem salary. The other expenses may be their car costs

When you're told to travel probably to differing neighbouring countries in the space of a few weeks, with only 20 quid in the pockets, I'd rather you quit the job.

Unless Conference scouts travel by bicycles or on foot to border countries, they would have to think of ways to get around the travel expenecs with only two $10 notes in their possession.

Can't see two $10 notes being of any use to any Conference scout, unless he was unrealistically asked to scout USA or Australia.
