I had two pretty good left wingers in my team. One up-and-coming youngster and one first-teamer. The first-teamer's contract expires this year, so I decided to sell him. Got 22k plus 25%. Pretty decent I guess. He had his last training yesterday game time, and today my young dribbler got a long time injury
So I'm pretty much frelled for the next couple of months. A little while ago I had to play a 15 year-old in defence as the rest of the blokes were injured. Pretty young to debut

I've got an injury crisis at present myself. Both first choice SC & MC's are out for a long period, and thier replacements an't really up to scratch. Nice form slump is the result, loosing the last six games slumping from 1st to 11th, and putting me on the endangered list.

I can feel a sacking coming on.

What an odd coincidence, I had a run of bad injuries as well. My club was in its first season of Division Three and we were into November hovering around 7th or 8th. Then the injuries started coming to my starting eleven. At one point I had seven of my starters injured at the same time. Luckily they spread out over the winter months and my club size was big enough to soak it up. The upside was, by March everyone had come back from injury and we cruised in to win the Division.

I put it down to the fact that while I had a reasonable club size, I was overplaying those seven and they were all quite young. I'm sure there was some bad luck involved there as well.

It's not all bad news though, is it? Both of my fullbacks are injured, all 3 of my MC's are consistently too tired to play, both of my strikers are injured.

So it gives me a chance to blood my youth players and test guys in non-natural positions.

I always find the injuries i get in places i cannot feel like Left wing. For 2 months i was playing a centre back there because of a transfer window and selling a whole load of first team players for disliking me.

thats a luxury, a rotation policy, I only have 20 players total in Div 1 and only 10 of them are good enough for the division

It could be worse. Your left back could get injured for a few months in pre season, and when you go to play your veteran back up left back for the first game of the season you discover he's retired and the game hasn't told you!
