Does that ever happen? I'm in 2016/17 (I think) and I don't think Man U have ever finished outside of the European places.

I never look at the premiership tables while I'm still down in the abyss of league (or non-league) football.

Yep, they were relegated, spent a few seasons in Division 1, got back up for a couple and are now back down again. They join Arsenal in Division 1 whilst Billericay went straight back up to the Premier League.
