I just started playing CM4 a couple of months ago and I really don't know much about the game or the sport. The concept of LLM really appeals to me and that is the way I would like to play. I'm just wondering what would be a good league/club for me to pick? Sine I'm a new player I don't want to choose a club/league that is too hard and get frustrated. I've started a few games with Telford from the English league but held off really getting into the game becuase of time constraints and I also decided to wait for the game to be fully patched. I'm now ready to dive into a full fledged game of CM4 LLM style and I figured I'd ask to see what club/team everyone here suggests for a CM and LLM newbie. Thanks for any and all replies
There is a random LL team generator at the top of the forum page which is a good way of selecting a team, could send you anywhere.
Otherwise, just go for a league that you are familiar with and pick a team that takes your fancy. If you are expecting instant success, then maybe LLM isn't for you, but Llamas don't get frustrated, they get fired , then they find a new team with a stupider board and start over!
Telford would be fine, they have a good stadium name, which is always one of the criteria I use in selecting a team!

Thank you for the advice Cobbler. It's not that I want instant success, I just don't want to pick a club/league that is extremely difficult. I'm not familiar with any league, I've never followed soccer and I've never played CM before. I was thinking of sticking with Telford, I just wanted some advice from more experienced players. Any other thoughts? Thanks again
If you want an easier start you should try a Club like Hull, in the English 3rd Division. They have a high reputation, comparatively, and some money to ease you in.
If you don't want too easy a run, you've made a pretty good choice in Telford.
Remind me to play you guys in a game of poker next time I'm over there. If the amount of "inner secrets" of LLM that has been posted over the past few days is a reflection of your card skills, I am going to make a mint.
The idea is for people to find out for themselves what is the best way to go about things. Being spoon fed just means people will want to be spoon fed more and more.
Give him an idea, but don't spell it out in black and white. The real beauty of LLM is find out things for yourself, not holding thier hands and patting it gently.

Agree 100%. Figure the bloody game out yourself! I thought that was the whole spirit of LLM!
If you want detailed info on clubs, visit Project X, linked from the top of the forum. The only problem with it is that it's now a season out of date and the financial side of the game has changed drastically in that one season.
However, it does give you an idea of some of the league structures, and also gives you an idea of who the better teams are. Bear in mind some will have been relegated and promoted since it was done.
Someone could maybe point you in the direction of an updated version if one has been done?
