One of my worst decisions was getting to division 1 and panic buying, I spent 3.5M (my entire transfer budget) on two players. Managed to stay up (just) but am now bankrupt because the wages of these two players are huge

Anyway my worst decision was replacing coaches, lost to predatory bigger clubs, and not actually telling my new coaches to do anything. I never noticed for 1/2 a year and when I did it was too late.

I was eventually sacked.

I once sold my DM C who was my best player, but had the drawback that he got sent off too often. Anyway, the money was a lot, I needed it and so I sold him...even though he was very loyal and I could probably keep him forever.

Let me tell you, my midfield was never the same again. I keep wondering whether I would have made it finacially without selling him. Who knows...

I once left a good team to take over a team newly promoted to the conference, but when I looked at the squad they had NO players at all!! It was 2 weeks before the first game too. think it was CM 00/01
