Bad decisions are usually tactical with me. Starting off with a *-*-* formation and going down 3-0 before realising it should have been the *-*-*.

Biggest repeated mistake is the selling of the similarly named good player instead of the Club donkey

There was absolutely othing wrong with his post. It was infact quite interesting. He didn't start off a thread soley for introducing himself so there was no harm in him mentioning he was new. It might be long but at least he didn't keep it all to one paragraph, it was spaced out.

Anyway, my worst decision would have to be in CM01-02 in my best game.

I was managing Southend. When i took them on they were around 15th in the conference. Over about 10 or so years i made them into a decent side. I ended up getting them up to the 1st division. We were doing ****e and i had no money to spend on players.

So, i ask the board for some cash. They denied and i was ****ed off i thought; "I have taken them this far and i need some cash for survival. I know, i will give them an ultimatum, they can't sack me, i made them"

Anyway, they sacked me there and then. It was a bit of a reality check to be quite honest.

Worse decision? Probably buying the game all those years ago...

...since then my work productivity has gone down, my work laptop has more game saves than work-related files, my wife is now an ex-wife, and I even put down me forgetting my car's MOT to this game. Last Sunday my intentions to "start building my patio" was detroyed by a 14 hour session, and I only got a couple of hours kip before getting up for work this morning. Oh, and look at me here, during work hours, posting on this board...

My worst decision was only selecting the English league in my Billericay/Newport game when my computer can comfortably run 15, and maybe more if I tried. I'm now in 2033.

I don't think I've ever seen a rating of '1'. I'm assuming that there were a fair few goals going in then?

Worst decision was offering contracts to lots of staff having got promoted from the conference.

not a problem you may say, but.....

I never expected then all to sign and I had offered contracts to some coaches as assit. managers, but couldn't remember who.

Ended up with 5 assist. managers, all on too much money and the board would not let me end their contracts!!

Deleted the save the next day.

Long posts are fine, as long as they have a point and are well written, infact I enjoy a longer more thought out and often elquently put post to a 3 line question which this could easily have been.
