I mudt be a really poor manager, but, being a Leyton Orient fan, they are always the first team I go to. So I did this time. In my first season I got them to the play-off final and lost. Next season I was stuck in the bottom half of the table and got sacked, then moved to Wycombe Wanderers (also in the third division after being relegated), again first few months did well but then the team collapsed and I lost about 7 games on the trot.
Afterwads I moved back to Orient, did well for a couple of months before again the team collapsed, so I resigned and joined Southend (relegated to the conference the season before), again did ok for the first few months before I resigned to go back to Orient, who were stuck in 22nd place with 20 games to go, I managed to get on a winning run and finished the season in a safe 16th. Onto the new season, not sure whats going to happen!!!
The annoying part was, I had signed some class players for free after I lost in the play off final. All in all alot better than playing as a premiership side with millions to spend. Be alot more satisfying if I can get them promoted!! So Any one know any good Third Division players to sign, I need a bit more depth to my squad, especially as I only have ep 4, which has a problem with injuries. Also would having a more robust midfielder help?

I would recommend that you use EP5 for starters. You see, this is LLM and we play by our own set of rules and guidlines, which include No player Naming and No tipping. You have named players and asked for Tips.
The best place for you to go is GPG (Good Players Guide). I am sure they can help you out with some good players.
Sorry, yeah I read th header, but anywayz how so you talk aboout being an LLMer when you can discuss tactics, players and share tips. Amazingly its how its done in real life, our manager (Paul Brush) goes on a training course each summer to discuss these things with other managers, the learn new ways to manage a team, new tactics (probably not players), but its how its done in real life. Otherwise what else can I talk about onthis forum?
What I want to know is how Mr Webb manages to keep getting hired as the O's manager. all he did was loose in the playoff's. They had him back twice after doing Sh*te with other teams.
The board must love the guy or be stupid or something. the meeting must have been fun to sit in on....
'come on gov you remember 2 seasons ago Webb was a dream he got us to the playoffs and everything, ok so he sh*te now and got sacked a few times, resigned becase things weren't going his way but you've got to hand it to him he is loyal.'
'True he goes and stuffs up the other teams in he league for a few months then come home to the O's to help us finish mid table. The guy a geneous. Hire that man again!!'
I can win a league and not even the 20th placed team in the conference will higher me!
Have a check through a couple of the threads. Then you will see.
I will give you two eamples one in real life and the other CM life to show why No player naming is allowed.
In real life, your 3rd division rival will not come and hav a cup of tea and say to you, oh, we are chasing this nigerian superstar for free, i suggest you go for him too. He is called <Insert a name here>. that simply would not happen.
CM life. If naming was allowed here, people will get confused and start telling us that there is a wicked swedish 17 year old on a free at the start. You sould go and sign him.
Do you see where i am coming from? The rules are there for a reason. If you stick around for a while and start playign the way we play, you will realise why.
