Anytime I come up against a side composed of just grey players, my side always runs around the pitch like the St Mary's U12 Girls second XI. The opposition players meanwhile run around like they are contenders for the PL flag. I honestly dread each time I come up against one of these sides in a cup draw. They just seem to play out of thier skin. Crisp passes, nice through balls and most of the time all my players can do is hack it out of bounds to await the next onslaught.

Is it just me?

I can sympathise, Taips. In my experience its always their goalkeeper; he plays out of his skin (even though my crippled mum has better goalie stats) and ends up with the MotM award. Damn grey teams...

I get annoyed that when after a run of injuries a grey player who surpasses my entire team for talent appears. :x

Quite honestly, i prefer to play teams with grey players. In 3 of my friendlies i played non league teams as a bit of a morale booster and we won them all quite convincible.

I've played an all-grey team myself a couple of times, usually in the early rounds of the Intertoto when no-one's fit.

Sometimes they don't do too bad as it happens, I've even scraped wins a couple of times against minor Icelandic opposition.

But you can bet when you play an all-grey Juventus in 2033 they'll still be a team of world-beaters.
