You can LOAN players? No wonder my LLM careers have all been s**tty ;-) Oh well, at least it's realistic - IRL i could get any team relegated 10-12 games into the season :-)

Like Robbo, if I feel my club can financially afford (ie we're stable and have a healthy balance), then I scout further than SWYCT.

Loans... I don't have a problem with loaning kids from the under 19s of Premier League teams. I remember years ago a current Real Madrid player played at Third Division Preston on loan for a short while. Besides which, the computer teams do it (though to a lesser extent with EP5) so why handicap ourselves?

I loan any players who are interested in coming to my club. If they're in the premier league, it doesn't matter.

I've always found it a right pain to even get hold of loan players from the division above, I'll take who I can get, although only a small handful have ever been more than a backup

George Best has been looking for a job since he hung up his boots in the 70s. He still can't find one and he would have been a great wee coach, unfortuneately institutional rascism is inbred in the football fraternity.

The only self-imposed guideline I use is to refuse to sign any players that have, IRL, been associated with Peterborough United. Not too sure how realistic that is! But the effects begin to wear off a few years into the game...

i will be just happy if a few players decide to say they want to try their hand at playing for me....

so the loaning of players i have no probs about it as the players seem to want to play for a better team than come to me

I always make sure I scout a player twice with differnt scouts before bidding. I tend to find they give totaly different views and it's generally the second I go with as it tends to be more accurate.

Also I will never sign the ugly player, or the ginger tosser from Manure (not that I've ever been in the position to sign the Ginger one)!

I'm now feeling really guilty. Three players on loan from PL sides and they are the major part of my team.

If you can scout the players, there's no reason for you not to loan them, and the board usually restricts wages anyway. (Third season with Gravesend and its a pain in the arse to renew contracts).

Bit off topic now. Is anyone using the skysports skin? Wondered what it was like before I download it.
