I've had one 50 season game (Welsh foreground, 3 others background) and one 55 season one (English and Scottish on foreground) in CM01/02. Both probably took about 8-10 months to get that far.

I play CM a fair bit, but only 1 or 2 seasons a week (about 10-15 hours worth). My PC's only a P3 500mhz, so nothing special to say the least. A sturdy PC's much more important than a fast one.

Ehm... that's a hell lotta seasons ... For me, possibly i just lose a grip when long into the seasons. I mean, in CM 01/02 i'got to 2005 ("go to bed, kids" you might say), and then i stopped, just because i've lost some "real-life" connection. I mean, one thing is when a well-known IRL dude joins up your squad, which went all the way up from CON to PRM, and, again, IRL he plays some cool MU or Juve side. Another thing is to sign some Abraham-Mabraham in the year of 2040, who will rule the earth, but... but this is more then less enjoyable for me... Am i just a bore, maybe?

I don't even have many leagues loaded up with only 7 divisions running (never seen the point, speed wise vs. enjoyment)...

I too like to go through every little detail, especially right at the start of the CM4 life... I'll probably speed up a fair bit when I get used to it.

I totally agree with you, Juanseboob. If we are talkin LLM, and, i believe, we do, then this way is way more realistic - at least say the time spent on learning the squad and stuff should be comparable to that one when you just clicked 'Continue' and wait...
