Who made that random llm team selector thingy? Giving me this bunch of Mexican Chilli Growers was cruel! (I like the generator thing really - just that the Mexican heat is getting to me!)
I'm in a dilemma...
My team is well over wage budget. I have a difficult choice, sell the players who are high wages (who happen to be the only players I have who look remotely capable of playing the beautiful game), or ignore the board moaning about a lack of cash for now and hope for the best...
It is the traditional decision that small clubs have to take I suppose - Keep a tight grip on the purse strings and please the bank manager, or spend some cash and hope success pays the bills.
I must say I think the whole wage structure issue adds an interesting new dimension to the game, especially for lower league clubs. Probably my favourite feature of CM4 at the moment.
So do I manage the club like an accountant, or go for glory and expense be damned?
Ask the Board for more transfer funds, they tell you there's none. Ask them for bigger wages...none. Expand the Stadium, "We control the finances, you run the Team".

Now where's my Tractor tyre gone?

Was just going to say Craig... I wouldn't argue with him either. Have you seen his mates
Ignore your wage budget, exceed everyone's expectations, and prepare yourself to jump ship if (when?) it all gets a bit messy, hopefully to a club with a decent wage system.
Well the transfer window was only open for about 2 weeks! So I didnt get a chance to cut the budget much.
I'm quite enjoying Mexico - just one problem...
I have no idea whatsoever of the rules of the Mexican league! This has to be the most confusing competiton in the game surely? 2 part league, with a knockout stage(quarter finals, semis and final?), plus playoffs, and some sort of average points over 3 seasons system as well. I just cannot get my head around it at all.
I blame Craig's generator gadget, at least you know what you need to do in the conference to get promoted. I won my first match in Mexico and was still below teams who had not played a game yet I think... Too confusing.
Oi Siggy. I was checking out the Editors* Forum and i see thyere is a guide to help you with the countries rules. A bit like the ULG. Some Portugal bloke is getting a list of all the rules of leagues in CM4 and he will implement in CM4 some how. No sure if/when it will be ready, but might be a good idea to keep an eye on it.
*Before you say i was on there checking up on Taipans Commentary, New sound EP and what i am about to say, not dirty editors to give nuneaton 100 million quid*
