Exeter City have to be the easiest football team to please. In my first season I've taken them to 19th in the 3rd division and am currently on a run of 14 games since my last victory. The boasd are "delighted with my general performance", loads of players are happy with our league position, and one of them is even proud of it (presumably he brags about it to his mates down the pub). Also two of my players think I am extremely competent.

Maybee if I get them relegated from the conference next season i'll get a knighthood...

Question is what would the board say if you were mid table of even top.

'Nick.... 19th was chuffun great, but now your just showing of with 9th. We've worked long and hard to get this club where it is and we don't need some jonny come lately to go messing it up...'

I've never got to 19th in a league, they always kick me out by the time I get to 16/17th.

got the sack once 2 games into the season while in 14th.

Can I sign the Exeter board.

would you want the exeter board? Isn't Micheal Jackson an honoury(sp) member and doesn't Uri Geller sit on the board? Or did I just imagine that?

The fact is, they probably don't care becase Uri thinks he can will you to survival.

That aside, it's refreshing to see a board facing up to the harsh reality of relegation.

Ahh, they do ge annoyed...

Board remains very pleased with my performance when i've taken them to bottom of the league, but you get an unhappy message if you lose the home leg of the local derby (Plymouth Argyle) 4-1.
