Like Narciso, I'm a regular at the Dugout messageboards, not the main site, but the messageboards. The Grass Roots forum that has been mentioned is a place for stories mainly, but we do talk the usual amount of garbage on there too. We do have certain rules, such as yourselves (including not using the Find button, I may add), but I don't think that we are as strict with them as you. Player tipping and the like is very much frowned upon, and s suitably edited out by our mods.
Don't get me wrong though, I do occasionally visit this site and read through the posts, but as there are so many users on here, it's hard to reply to so many topics without neglecting to read the others, so I don't post as often as I'd like to. The GR forum in the Dugout has pretty much become a shadow of it's former self, as CM4 has killed our passion for the story telling, the reasons for this are well known to you of course.
The regulars there are up in arms about the new forum created by Mark (who's rarely there, BTW) as we don't see the point in having it there. We already have a forum for the purpose, but when originally proposed, the object of his forum was to ave sections actually about tactics and great players to sign. We pointed out to him that it wasn't the way LLM should be played and he said that he'll "have to take that bit out".
We're opposed to a duplicate forum and the (what I see as) arrogant "birthing of LLM" phrase used in the opening message from the moderator. It's true that the forum isn't as used as much as it was, but there's no need for another.
Can I ask for a Grass Roots forum here somewhere and call it LLaMa-lite?
