I always read this, and think nothing of it. But it's pretty obvious that I am the one who makes the final decision, as every club I ever recommend is chosen.
Unless, of course, someone has had a different experience. I'd be VERY surprised though!
So that's my question :
Ever recommended a feeder club and it not be chosen by the board?

I feel the same as you, it's me making the decision. If it's the board who are having the final say, I don't think there would even be a point to this message.

I suspect that line of text is just used to make it appear that the board are always in charge...even if they aren't.

What is annoying is ;

"The Board return Feeder Club verdict. You can choose between :

1) Upper Mboto 2nd XI - First choice on players
2) Siberian Tigers - International loan your players will never agree too.
3) The Red Lion - National loan at such a low level no-one will go."
