Default Bit Depth of pictures - does this matter?

I have made a facepack for my team yet i looked at all the other players pics properties and they all had a bit depth of 32, whereas mine are all 24; does this matter? If so, what program can i use to change the depths?

What do you mean they don't come up in the game? Do they just not display at all or do they appear corrupted?

If they appear corrupted then it's likely that there is no alpha channel in the graphic, which you can sort out by making a copy of the background layer, deleting the background layer then setting the opacity of the new layer to 99%.

What graphics package are you using to create your images?

Does a space for the picture appear? Have you switched off Skin Cache?

If a space hasn't appeared then it's likely to be a problem with the config file and not the picture.

No, Paint isn't good. I'm not sure if you can do it in Irfan View. Try searching in the help for either opacity or transparency.

The value is usually a percentage so you will have to set this to 99%
