I had downloaded a bunch of facepacks with "large player" pics. One of the readme files mentioned that you have to use Turnstyle skin, or else get "Ricey's large pic mod". However I'm not sure if this true, or assuming it is, where to get this mod?

Maybe I'm thinking of it wrong. Is there anything different that needs to be done in order to use the large pictures (vs. the usual, small ones) ?

You do need to get the Mod. It's available in the large facepacks thread in the graphics forum at soritoutsi.net

Actually, if you install the mod let me know if your height and weight stats disappear. Mine did around the same time...could very well be because, as Ter pointed out in another thread, that Ricey's Mod could be for FM2005.

I'm using the aurora skin, which is cracking, btw.

if you want the height and weight appear status appear with the large player mod, simply just copy the player profile.xml from Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\skins\turnstyle\panels to the other skins panels folder

u have to adjust the profil.xml by your own. turnstyle uses a slightly differnt sequence for the stats(height, weight, contract, age... there on different lines in both skins) so simply copying the mod wont do it for the aurora skin. u con copy the profile.xml from turnstyle but that will look a bit weird... so i have adjustet it in the original aurora file... and it works perfect.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to try to get the mod later. I'm at work and my company actually blocks sortitoutsi. Reasoning listed is "Criminal Skills". Ha ha...

You only need the mod if you are using a skin that does not support larger pictures.

Turnstyle supports large pictures.

Hellenic also supports larger pictures.
