Default From one image to another. Take control!

Origianally posted by Julie on the temporary board. Thank you Julie [righton]

Most people know that you can drag a layer into another open image with the move tool, and that you can copy and paste one image into another. Here are a couple of tips that can expand your options:

1. To move more than one layer at a time, link all the layers you want to move, make sure one of the linked layers is active, and drag with the move tool into your image.

2. If you want the moved layer or layers centered in the image, hold down the Shift key as you drag.

3. When you copy and paste one image into another, by default it will center in the image. If you'd rather it land someplace else, make a selection of an area in the target image, then paste. The copied image will appear within that area.
