What do you dislike most about the Metallic 2006 skin? I've tried to think of the most common things people might not like about it.

I couldn't decide between layout or colour scheme, because although they are both nice, it's essentially just the metallic skin from last year. no offense, but there just doesn't seem to be something original (like the differences in the 3 skins from cm 03/04)

Apart from the layout I dislike all of the things in the list but I dislike the pale colourless graphics throughout the game the most.

To say it in a simple wayy. I dont really like anything about it, maybe a dark blue style.. more retro-looking might be a better way to go in 06 or probably 07 for that matter

Aye. Something about the british blandness that is so bleak and depressive. It also lacks a certain flair or panache (some sleek, ellegant lines while still remaining classic). Turnstyle or Aurora does this exceedingly well. While including skins made by the community is a nice feature, I very much question the choices made. Cappuccino is absolutely HORRID and Chameleon barely passable.

Nice to see you on the offensive though!

I find the 2006 version of Metallic a lot more polished that the old metallic and really like it, its a good evolution.

There are a few issues though:

I have never liked the font, it is a little too 'fat' for my liking and thats something I would like to see change.

The silvery grey is obviously very functional in it's look but a little dull. However there are only a certain amount of colours that suit a game that you look at for so long. Going back to blue shades being a no-go I can't think of anything else that will look as good as silvery/grey.

Layout is something that I know from experience honesty can't be changed that much (tree needs to be where it is, titlebar needs to be where it is etc). I know elements can be changed around in their positioning slightly but in terms of being useable I don't think there are many ways it could be changed for the better.

The dull colour scheme is just a big turnoff combined with the font. I still don't like the whole look of FM the interface, particularly player searches and the like is still ungainly and several steps back from the SI CM's.

That said, Radestock's wrapround is bar far the best the community had produced for FM. Surprised that one wasn't the one selected to be available with the FM06
