That's right, I'm the idiot. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out. Basically I have the IT skills of a new born chimp so would be grateful if someone could give me a run through of how I get the stadium pack I've downloaded onto the game, I think it's important you appreciate how little I know about this kind of stuff. Basically I've downloaded and I can see the file. So what do I do after that? Where do I move it to and more imprortantly how do I do that? Everything I've read on this forum re this tells you what to, but not how to do it (which is understandable considering most 6 year olds can probably do it).

copy the stadium folder

then go to MY DOCUMENTS>SPORTS INTERACTIVE>fm08>GRAPHICS>PICTURES>BAC KGROUNDS>AND PASTe

you might need to create folders graphics and onwards

then in game, go to preferences and un tick USE SKIN CACHE and tick SHOW BACKGROUNDS

Firstly thanks for the reply. Secondly I think you are still underestimating my stupidity! I get the copying and pasting bit but when I've opened up the fm08>GRAPHICS>PICTURES etc I just paste it in there and that should work? I also get the prefrences and ticking the background bit, what I don't understand is the create folders graphics bit?

when you into the football manager 2008 folder, right click on the white screen - new - folder - and name it graphics etc lol
