Hi I know this is a bit cheeky but im sure a lot of people would download this if someone made it if possible. Ok basically im Looking for the scottish league to be extended (Swapped for another league) The spl to have 16 teams and the rest 10, 12 or 14. I would have the normal 12 teams plus St. Mirren, St.Johnstone, Clyde and Airdrie in the prem. For the extra teams needed for the lower league's can we have Pollock, Renfrew, Johnstone Burgh and Arthurlie. Can the league's be renamed to have the current scottish one's? I know all this would be a lot of work but would make the Scottish game a lot more interesting. I will work on facepacks for all the teams including the lower new teams and also club logo's! Anyone fancy the challenge??

Hmmm... interesting idea. The trouble is, the only other league in the world that has 4 divisions (at 4 levels) is Italy and you dont really want to knock one of the biggest leagues out of the game.

The Belgian league has 4 divisions at 3 levels (the 3rd division is split into 2 I think) so that could work. I think the divsions have around 20 teams each though.

Excellent Belgiun league it is then, But how do I go about changing the leagues over? I would want it to say spl above the league though is this possible? Would young scottish players come throught the ranks or would it be belgium?

League names can be changed easily with the editor. As far as i know, young players nationality is based on the location of their teams stadium - so they should come through as Scottish (unless you change the stadiums for some reason).

OK, paste the text below into an edt file, called "whatever.edt" and put the file in your data\db folder, yadda, yadda, yadda.... It'll swap a whole bunch of Scots teams into the Belgian Leagues, and vice versa (and it'll change the names of the leagues.)

It's not perfect but test it out anyway. There are still 3 main problems:

- Little Belgian teams still get pick for the early rounds of the cup along with the new scottish ones. Can be fixed by swapping a load more little scots non-league teams over.

- Awards (player of month/year etc) are still called "Belgian Player of the Month" etc. Easily fixed.

- All the scottish teams will be classed as if they are playing in Belgium (a bit like how Cardiff City are classed as English). They'll also be classed as Belgian when it comes to European comps. All the youngsters/re-gens will still be Scottish though.

Apart from that the main job is done.
