I changed the attributes, CA and PA of a few players, some I increased by a few points and took a few off others.

When I loaded the game all the players I edited had their attributes increased by at least 2 sometimes 5.

For example I decreased one strikers penalty,finishing and first touch by around 3 points. When I loaded the the game he had gone up 2 in finishing and first touch while penalty went up by 4.

What am I doing wrong?

Im pretty sure attributes are randomized to some extent, so that you don't get the exact same players becoming the best players in the world every time you play the game.

Changing the CA will cause variation on the values you put on the editor. Happend to me in FM2005.

Most the times the variation is on the attributes that are blank on the editor, for automatic set by the game engine.

Changing the PA will only determine how Fast and how Mutch the attributes will respont to training!
