Any chance of a tutorial on how this was done? I'm not a genius or anything, but have made small patches for a couple of wrestling games(changed language to English and hacked custom wrestlers onto the disc) after being given some brief instructions.

You simply change the nation of the league to one the you want. Swap the TLA of the nations around, e.g. You are putting Iran league instead of Wales for instance, swap the TLA of wales & iran round.

Then swap teams, simple, that but takes no more than 30 mins.

I am still having problems switching leagues. I want to switch the Denmark with Saudi Arabia. Switch Belarus with Egypt and switch the Ukraine with Morrocco. I tried to make these changes with the WSM data editor,but when I tried to start a new game Denmark, Belarus, and the Ukraine were not leagues I could manage in, but Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morrocco were leagues I could manage in either.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here?
I need a step by step instruction on how to this?

Can someone please help, I am trying to create a playable J-League. I understand I need to swap the teams between leagues, is this right?

Does the league I am swapping with have to have the same ammount of teams in it? If so, J1 has 18 teams and J2 14, any ideas of a similar league structure?

Also, In my data editor the competition names of playable ones is greyed out?

ok so for example, I wanted to change the welsh premier with J1. I have to change the nation of the league? then change the TLA of the each nations? (will this mess up tha national squads?) and then swap the teams?

This will leave me with J1 league teams playing in the welsh premier as I cant change the name of it? or do i need to use some EDT files to swap the names?

oooor... do i have to swap every league of that nation with the teams? eeek, I wish this was a bit easier SI!

why cant you just have a switch to turn on the J league, that you accidently let the public know about?

Swap the TLA round for Japan & Wales.

Goto the competitions tab & change the nation for the japan league to wales, & the wales league japan.

Swap clubs around.

You can change the name unless you have downloaded or created a "inc" fake file (have you downloaded the real name file?) if so... open it in notepad & goto wales near the bottom & rename the relevant leagues to what you want.

Save, Start new game & japan will apear under the asia tab (this does not affect international clubs no....)

thanks i'll give this a go later. so Can i just pick out one of the leagues from another nation or does it have to be the whoel league structure?
