| That's how I see it yeah, with the slider dictating where the player will begin to close down the ball, as explained above ("own half," "always" etc). This is why I tend to link mentality to closing down as an attacking player will be more aggressive and effective in attacking the ball, whereas a defensive player would be more inclined to back off and/or not be drawn out of position. That's my opinon anyway. </BLOCKQUOTE>
asmo

| Usually yes, but this is one position I'll sometimes make an exception for and leave closing down on "team."

| ooops, just testing.....
I personally tend to mirror closing down and mentality for my players. Not exactly the same, but the close.
i guess it is on the left ^^ </BLOCKQUOTE>

i think it's interesting to have your strikers with a high closing down, to prevent a good pass from behind, or to press the keeper when he's adventuring out the box.
i'm playing with arsenal and Henry scored me bags of goals thanks to opponent's keeper mistakes.

| If I'm playing a normal/attacking game then I set midfield and attack up the same using team instructions. The Slider Apathy thread goes into more detail if you're interested.
