When I'm loking at tactics on the forum & people show you Team/Player instructions tehy will have for example:

Mentality: Normal (8-10)

When I'm on the tactics screen it on shows Normal, can you set it to numbers??

This is covered in the FAQ, but the numbers are just an easy way of showing the sliders.

With 1 being the leftmost setting and 20 being the rightmost setting.

The sliders with fewer options usually go by their names (rarely, sometimes, often).

I'd suggest reading the FAQs and Tactics Bible to get a better feel of these terms.

It's a slider system. If you click and hold, you can slide the marker in either direction. To the extreme left is 0 and to the extreme right is 20. Every notch in between obviously counts as 1. Therefore if you see Defensive Mentality at 8, then it would be two notches to the left of the middle-mark.

Thanks guys, its good knowing there is help. I've always played LMA & tactics aren't as in depth. So it's taking time to get used to the game setup in FM
