I use attacking, fairly quick, fairly wide, short passing. It should be direct with a fast attacking paced game, but I find my players dont give the ball away as much, which bugs the HELL out of me. I have counter attacking clicked, it's always nice to blast away from a team, who are left all confused and shattered when their attack turns in to my goal. Counter attacking does work with defensive tactics, I used to use them when managing crewe lol. It just means they will hang back quite a bit and then suddenly blast forward when they get the chance. Probably best time to use it really, means you can defend but still create chances.
