I've just created a new tactic with man utd. I hope to see other clubs using this tactic. I just need your opinions regarding this tactic.
The first game that i used this tactic was against Stoke(away) in the FA Cup 3rd rd. But it ended in 1-1 draw. But after that match, it went smoothly.
Man Utd 1-0 Newcastle(Home) Carling Cup semi
Man Utd 3-0 Portsmouth(Away) Premiership
Man Utd 1-0 Stoke(Home) FA Cup 3rd Rd replay
Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea(Home) Premiership
Man Utd 5-0 Newcastle(Away) Carling Cup semi
Man Utd 2-0 Fulham(Away) FA Cup 4th Rd
Man Utd 3-2 Tottenham(Away) Premiership
Man Utd 1-0 Liverpool(Home) Premiership
Man Utd 1-1 Southampton(Away) Premiership
Man Utd 3-0 Blackburn(Home) Premiership
Man Utd 3-1 Wigan(Away) FA Cup 5th Rd
Hope you all can try my tactic and give me the feedback.
Thanks for the help aston_martin. Sorry guys hor the lack of informations. As a newbie on posting tactics on this forum, hope you guys can pardon me.
Tactical Formation
I'm using the standard formation of 442 with 2 attacking midfields.
FC FC
AML AMR
MC MC
DL DC DC DR
Style of play
An attacking tactic using both flanks to run riot onto the opponents. Crosses mostly came from both fullbacks and wingers. Using centre midfields as a creative department. My scorers have been superb lately. Most goals came from both centre midfields and forwards. Centrebacks are quite solid.
Team Instructions
I'm using mixed passing style with slider in the short passing zone. It's also a slow tempo tactic which focusing on keeping possessions. Playing push up defensive line and wasting much time. Width is very wide and focusing passing on both flanks. And not to forget counter attacking play. The rest are as normal. No targetman. No playmaker.
As u can see I don't like to change my tactic on home-away basis. So u can try using this tactic on away match too.
I've been using this tactic on middle of the season(2011/2012). About 15 games now, with only 2 draws and 1 lose(against arsenal(3-2) in carling cup final). The players I've been using are as follow:
GK : Tomasz Kuszczak
DR : Leyrielton
DL : Omar Esparza
DC : Vincent Kompany
DC : Gerard Pique
MC : Raul Garcia
MC : Michael Carrick
AMR : Cristiano Ronaldo
AML : Daniel Galbraith
FC : Wayne Rooney
FC : Okaka
Sorry for no screenshots as I still don't know how to take it. Help will be appreciate.
IMO this tactic will do well with attacking minded clubs such as Man Utd, Arsenal, Barca, Real madrid and many more. I'm trying to use this tactic with those clubs that like defensive play.
