starting a new game with deadline day weegie update as boro. got £15 million to spend, which i've used to buy Kahlenberg and some youngsters so far... also got Mitea in on loan.

have agreed deals for Jo, Vagner Love and Doyle, but debating who to buy.

anyone got any recommendations on playing with boro? played as them a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. hopefully this will be as good...

anyway, so far i have made two big-name signings: Kahlenberg and Vagner Love. will sign Jo if i sell downing i think... am also trying to bring in Anderson on loan from Man utd for the season.

pre-season going pretty well - scoring lots of goals and not conceding too many...

a sign of things to come i hope!

dont sell downing, keep him at the game his whole career then get him as your assistant

i didn't sell him in the end in the transfer window as no one would match my valuation.

in the end only made a few extra signings, investing for the future. not had the best of starts in the league, losing to sunderland away in final minute, losing 4-0 to man utd away, drew 0-0 to liverpool at home, beat wigan 2-0 at home and lost 2-0 away at reading. not happy, but feel a good run is around the corner. had a tough start as well.
