He's a Paraguayan centre midfielder and I signed him for 9 million simply because he has pace, acceleration and finishing ratings of 20 and 16 for off the ball, plus good technique and other good attributes.

I'm trying to retrain him as a striker as his attributes suggest he would be a good striker, especially using his pace for my counter attacking style of play.

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully retrained him as a striker and if so how good was he?

I havent ever bought him, he looks immense in 7.01 but they toned him down by 7.02...

However, saying that, he does often play as a striker IRL

i played a game with Udinese for a few seasons but he's never made it into my first team, mainly as he doesnt really fit into my system. i play a lone striker so he's not really what im looking for there, and he cant dribble so he's no good on the wings for me, and i have a fair few AM's so he wont get a place there either!

he's young tho so he should get better, but i cant really give any feedback

No problem guys, thanks for the responses anyway. I'm on the original patch so I guess he's rated better than on any patched games. But I had money to burn so thought he was worth the gamble, i'm worried as he doesn't seem to be learning the position quickly but i'll just have to keep playing and see how he turns out.
