Got sick of managing big clubs so thought I'd chance it right at the bottom. I'm now Lancaster City in the Conference North (start of season 1). I have just discovered that I have NO money at all, oh no.
I've signed Gareth Law, Scott Brough and Tommy Noble but I'm really struggling to make an impact.
Any good players I could snap up?

I started with Pro Vercelli from Italy, and I signed these players on free transfers:
Rafael Mea Vitali
Tiago Saletti
MatÃ*as Biscay
Silvio Toniolo
Ronaldo (23-years old, def mid)
Mauro Sabbadini
Mario Lemme
Can't remember how they all did, but later I sold Tiago Saletti and Ronaldo for £7.9mio!

Damn,
thanks that was actually great advice, but I can't sign any of 'em because I'm playing with just the English leagues on my game so none of these players are actually in my game...

Well, I don't know any good English players on free transfer (I'm not "into" English football). But soon I will start a game with a team from Conference North/South..

go to player search
and filter by free transfers and then set international caps to 5 or 10 or something.... will be left with a list of good freebies that will propel you up the leagues

i started in conf north as well but with vauxhall i signed lawrence yaku, ben lenders, deverdics, mark mcEwan, john kerr... yaku has 5 in 7 and kerr is doing well too also anthony wright is good... and i didnt spend a single k on any of these players hope this helps!
