I signed Vela in my second season with Milan for €25m. All I can say he's worldclass, I play him together with Villa, I'm winning almost everything with those 2 and Kaka  . Just get him, you will not regret it. Oh yeah, Pato is on his way too  .

As brilliant as he is, I would agree that £45m is too much for Vela when he's still so young. I would only spend money like that on a player that I desperately need - and with Rooney, Torres, Rossi, Saha and Smith you're not exactly in any great need for another striker.
However, if you're happy with the rest of your squad and have the money to burn then get him. He'll soon justify the price tag.

The world-class strikers of the future are (in random order)
Alexandre Pato
Sergio Agüero
Falcao
Carlos Vela
All four have a PA of -10, which is the best possible. They may not all look as impressive currently, but thats because some are slighlty more developed then the other. Regardless, all four will become absolutely world-class strikers.

How can you find out if a player has -10 potential? Do you use fm genie for that? And how do you search for it then?

zeefuik,
niguez,
nsue,niclas millan,
kevin paquet- (sp)?
