Well, i started to think if there will be a future for my team.
I've been looking for 15~16 year old kids, to build a team for the future. But, they all really suck. No matter if they are the best youngsters in their country, they suck. Will there be a future for FM08? Will there be players as good as Rooney, Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Drogba maybe, Aguero...?

Yes. Only problem is they mostly generate with horrible physical stats, and the game seems to rarely (if ever) generate characters that have high levels of technical ability at a young age (ala Bojan/Kroos/Rooney to name a few).

This leads to the problems that a) the first few batches of regens will always be outclassed by pre-existing wonderkids due to their low physical, a problem which exists for the first 10-15 years of the game and b) starting with low technical stats makes them fairly unlikely to ever reach full potential. This is especially true in countries outside of Europe and South America (the USA tends to generate a lot of extremely high PA players who'll never be prem quality because development in the USA is rubbish).
