Started a game with Cadiz in Spanish 2B the other day. I was pleased to find they had a banner staff of 3 coaches (including the AMgr) and 3 scouts. it almost made up for having no quality on the left side of the pitch (as if I'm supposed to expect that anyway ).
Then the game started. I've had staff poached before. But this was insane. I had two of my three coaches and all three scouts stolen-- BY OCTOBER! I only kept my Assitant by offering him a raise.
Then the board wonders why our results have been so inconsistent, of course.
Yeah, I fought off one bid on one of my coaches by offering him a new contract. But they came back a couple weeks later and bought him anyway. I got 200k Euro for that. So it wasn't all bad. But that's about the end of the upside.
Yea, it's become a constant thing. Those big brothers up there always think that Little Tawny's Club is always good to bully. It's either the better players or the old men sitting behind the benches.

I saw an unemployed scout who was better than any of my coaches (an't they all :eek. Hired him as a coach, six weeks later he is pinched by another club and accepts a AM role. A season later I check up on him and he is now a manager of a club.
Bet that. Coming up in a game against Sunderland in the 5th season, I'm seeing a certain former SI programmer sitting in the opposite dugouts. At least he'd do a good job, it's still Marc for you.
