I don't think it's unrealistic

A b*st*rd Central Defender, Scottish International, decided Hearts weren't paying him enough and went off to Rangers on freedom of contract. They sold him on before he'd played a game for £500k.

In CM as in RL i think anyones fair game. if you want them and they want to sign go for it.

I mean RL at the moment has gone mad with the whole loan system, players swaping clubs, Leeds ofloading high wage players for a season and the like.

That will be fun in the next CM update.

Then of course, you would be wrong when you've realised that you've signed a donkey at the last moment. Added to the fact that he's really destroying the club's wage structure, you could really only sought for the fastest way to get rid of him.

Little Dutch-boy had been tearing up poor Chelsea's wage allowance by floundering in the reserves and potting 40k pounds a week. Of course, they'd be happy to put him up as the grounds sweeper for that cash now, what with some funny-sounding Russian.
