If you take a quick glance at the results of the 2001/2002 Portuguese Cup Final, you'll see Sporting won it vs. Leixoes. Since Sporting won the double that year, Leixoes qualified for the UEFA Cup.

FA Cup is THE cup. No matter what club I partake, FA Cup is the priority. Don't know why, I just have such a craving for it.

Success for small clubs like me could go a long way in the FA Cup. I still remember the Stevenage v. Newcastle game a couple of years ago. Believe or not, that was the first time I really got inspired by a Lower League club and started LLM on CM.

Cups are crap. Cups don't matter. All they do is knacker your players for what does matter, the push for promotion.

Cups are only good for playing reserves and backup players in.

Cups are lame.

Cups are lame, but I still field my best possible team since the attendance deserves not to see my backup team.

If I would want to see the reserves playing, I'd go and watch them play.

Of course, the Scotsbloke is right, they can be disturbing, but getting promotion is out of reach for me anyway

Didn't know that the first teamers would be any better than the others, Ian. Scotland vs. Germany and Bayern vs. Celtic reminded me more of Kung Fu

Nevertheless, Scottish fans just rule - no hooliganism at all, that's awesome. I wished they would come more often to Munich (or to Dortmund) - I was really amazed how those 10 000 Scots made more atmosphere than the 60 000 Germans.

Regardless of the talent or otherwise of the players, the point was the Auld Firm Management disrespect their fans by playing a second-string Team in Cups.

Stuttgart had a good win against Rangers, too. Oh no, wait a minute....
