Can anyone please reassure me that with all the latest updates for CM 01/02 it is possible to change jobs?
I didn't play 01/02 much because of the changing jobs "bug". I always started off at a small club and got some degree of success but I was never offered a job or when I applied for a club that was in the division above me I was rejected.
The way CM4 is after 5 seasons with all the attributes being skewed just makes it pointless in playing it any more for me. I'd really like to immerse myself in a game of CM again, especially seeing as the weather has gone so cold! But I really don't want to start a game in 01/02 though if I can't change jobs. If that's the case I might have to go back to 00/01!

Seems to me you're put off easily by what other people call bugs. Neither the "attribute skewing" in CM4 nor the difficulty in changing jobs in 01/02 are so bad that you really notice it a lot (you do get job offers, just do well and hang in there), and definetely not as bad as to make a long-term game unenjoyable. Get a life, stop whining, and play the game.
